De Javue!!!

So I get another challenge today from Morethanfavors.blogspot.com too bad I didn't see yesterday. Oh, well gave me another reason to make another card. I used my same files from yesterdays card for other challenges I entered. So nice to be able to use those files over and over I have really come to love my Gypsy. So you will reckognize the card from yesterdays. Here is the challenge and the rules http://morethanfavors.blogspot.com/2011/05/wacky-wednesday-39-color-challenge.html. You had to make a project with the following colors, pink, brown, teal, and cream.
The pink is the bird and the thank you tag, the brown the is birds eye and beak, the teal the the scallop background, and the cream is the stamped with the thank you. Love the colors of this card turned out really cute.

Thanks for looking and wish me luck on another challenge. I also entered this in the BBtB2 challenge you can go here to see the rules BBTB2.

It's Challenge week!!

Here is a card I made for a couple different challenges. Kinda nice to wrap it all into one. The challenges I'm entering this in is http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/2011/05/florals-embellishedflying-bird.html this challenge from BBTB2 was to use a flying bird, the next challenge is http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/2011/05/challenge-me-monday-61.html for this challenge you had to use the color blue and at least one cloud, and the last one is for http://craftspotbykimberly.blogspot.com/2011/05/monday-challenge-9-shape-card.html you had to make a shape card. So killing 3 birds with one stone (hehe) had to throw that in. I am really excited about this card I love it.
So for the BBTB2, Fantabulous Cricut and Craft Spot challenge here is my card.
I used my Cindy LOO, Zoobaloo, Cricut cartridges and my Gypsy to weld my scalloped images together. The challenge for the BBTB2 was to use flying birds. The birds are off the Cindy Loo cartridge. The Fantabulous challenge you had to use a cloud and blue sky and the last challenge for My Craft Spot you had to have a shaped card.

I used pop dots on the bird for dimension I added a stamp and a little scallop for the hello and attached it with a glitter brad. This card just turned out beautifully. Saving this one in my Gypsy for later it was so easy to cut and put together.

You can see the welding here in the above card I did with the Gypsy.....
Thanks for looking and wish me luck..

Sunglass Challenge BBTB2

I made this oh so fabulous glasses for a challenge on the blog http://heather-bittenbythebug2.blogspot.com/2011/05/forever-youngsunglasses-challenge.html, I am really excited about this one and really got my creative juices flowing on this one. You had to use the Forever Young Cricut Cartridge to create something with sunglasses in it. I created a tag with lots of bling.
Everything except for the base tag which cut from the Winter Frolic Cart is off the Forever Young Cartridge and used the Gypsy to bring the creation all together.

the glass are cut with a little bit of bling and added gems using my Iroc tool. The Flower is also from the Forever Young cartridge using Capadia Designs blog instructions http://www.capadiadesign.com/.

I added purple and green buttons, pop dotted the glasses and a couple layers of the tags for dimension.
Thanks for looking and wish me luck on the challenge.

you can head on over hear and enter your fun projects you are making just starting myself kinda cool.

Old Cartridge Challenge

I made this tag for http://www.creativetimeforme.com/2011/05/throwback-thursday-challenge-wmy-design.html the challenge was to use Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge and if you don't have it to use another old one. Well I do not own Doodlecharms so I used Beyond Birthdays for the DAD font and Bags,Tags, And bogs for the tag card. Hopefully this will work for the challenge.
I card turned out really cute and definatly going to give my hubby for fathers day. I used the E2 and the Gypsy for the design layout.
I  made the bottle cap into a magnet and put a big eyelet in the middle and hot glued all together. Not sure if you can tell but the magnet is really cool.

I used the Beyond Birtthday cartridge for the scroll and the DAD, i shadowed both and pop doted them out to add dimension.  I punched a hole in the top of the tag added some ribbon and wa la..... Wish me luck on the challenge. Thanks

I have also entered this in couple other challenges for Fathers day, check out the challenges here.

The Scrap cake Cupcake challenge!

I made this cupcake for the Scrap Cake Cupcake Challenge. I've done something similar but changed up colors for the rules of the challenge. You can see the challenge here http://blog.thescrapcake.com/2011/05/tsc-cupcake-our-first-challenge/. Hopefully they will like what i've made. I used my Gypsy for mat placement and to save on paper, and my E2 using the Sweet Treats Cricut cartridge.

Not sure if you can tell but the brown dots I used liquid glass to make them shinny, turned out great. Wish me luck on the challenge and i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Happy Birthday Mom!!!

Happy birthday to my dear mother today. I wanted to make her a gift and lately she drinks her sprite from a bottle she bought at 7-11. So I bought a cup with a lid that had flowers on it and then cut  with my Gypsy and E2 on vinyl her name and ran it down the side of the cup. I also made her card I am sure she will love. Both turned out great.
The Happy Birthday on the front of the card is from the E2 Just a Note, the XOXO is from the Stamping Cricut cartridge. The flower on the front is from the great designers at Provo Craft with directions for how to make them here http://www.capadiadesign.com/. I love this flower and the dimension the folding gives it.

Tag Your It!!

Thought I would do a little playing around with my Gypsy and E2. It is nice to be able to save your designs delete off your mat without messing up the original designs since it is already saved. I used a few different cartridges Gypsy Wanderings for the hearts, Forever Young for the layers of flowers, Stamping for the Hello and the XOXO. I have to thanks Capadia Designs for the flower idea and all her great directions it sure turned out cute, I love this flower and how the layers and folding give dimension without alot of work put forth. I used the Imaginisce paper pack A Shore Thing, so cute....I had some other scraps laying around that I used for layers on the card.
I used pop ups on the flower to add some dimension and pop it off the card.

So I needed to make some thank you cards so decided to combine the two. I made all using my Gypsy (finally figured it out) loving using the Gypsy, using the welding feature I cut the strawberry off the Preserves cartridge and the Thanks So Much off the Stamping cartridge(one of my fav's) The card out great. Thanks for looking, wish me luck!!!

A Little Bit of Everything....

Made this card for my hubby. I used the Gypsy to cut the LOVE cut at 3" from the Home Accents cartridge. The Flags (2.5") and flower were cut (5") off the E2 using Just a Note cartridge off the machine. The scallop card is a pre cut 5 1/4" card. I just love the black and white contrast. The Flags are my new favorite.

Here is the second part of the Teacher Appreciation week. I made a journal for Mrs. R. which I am sure she will love it. I cut strips of paper from a Imaginessence paper pack, with cardboard stickers to match. I cut the 2 Teach is 2 Love from the Locker Talk cartridge using my Gypsy and the E2.
The card is just the Imaginessesce school pack with the Teacher Appreciation cut off the Locker Talk cartridge. The pair sure turned out cute.

This was going to be a birthday card but when I found out it was teacher appreciation I made it more generic and gave it to the teacher with 5 things we like about her. The Bling is from the IROC, and the whole design is off the E2.

Here is a birthday card I made for my niece. the cupcake swivels open with the brad that was made to look like a cherry on top. I used stickles to bling it up a little.
                                              The card swiveled open.
Another Birthday card but this time I used my Gypsy and the Gypsy Wanderings cartridge. I put 2 cupcakes together and welded them together to make the card. I used stickles to Bling it up. Cut the Happy Birthday using Gypsy Wanderings and WALA, you have a birthday card. Lovin my Gypsy more and more......
Better view of the welding and opening of the card.
More Mothers Day cards and gifts. I bought this magnet board at Roberts Craft(sad mine by me is closing) Made magnets using the ITOP and attached photos. The cute swirls were already on it so bonus.
The whole package together the present, with a fun card my mother in law is sure to love.

close up of the card. I just love these shoes.
The next cards are ones I made for my grandma and a couple friends so they know how special they are to me. The shoes are cut off the E2 using layering, the ribbon across the middle is paper fan folded a little tricky to place on the card but a fun embellishment. I added a layered flower with a bling brad at the top. FYI , this is one of my favorite papers and I love PINK!!!
The green in this sure makes the colors pop, for that reason this color combo is one of my favorite cards.
Another one with a little bit off variations, I hate to make them all the same to me they are all unique.
Wow lots done in the last couple days I sure hope you all enjoy, and hopefully inspire you to create something for your mother, grandmother, or girlfriend.
