Old Cartridge Challenge

I made this tag for http://www.creativetimeforme.com/2011/05/throwback-thursday-challenge-wmy-design.html the challenge was to use Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge and if you don't have it to use another old one. Well I do not own Doodlecharms so I used Beyond Birthdays for the DAD font and Bags,Tags, And bogs for the tag card. Hopefully this will work for the challenge.
I card turned out really cute and definatly going to give my hubby for fathers day. I used the E2 and the Gypsy for the design layout.
I  made the bottle cap into a magnet and put a big eyelet in the middle and hot glued all together. Not sure if you can tell but the magnet is really cool.

I used the Beyond Birtthday cartridge for the scroll and the DAD, i shadowed both and pop doted them out to add dimension.  I punched a hole in the top of the tag added some ribbon and wa la..... Wish me luck on the challenge. Thanks

    This looks wonderful! I've had that cart for years and have never used it! It has never inspired me, but seeing your tag has me thinking I need to take a look at it! I love the masculine colors/details! Good Luck with the challenge!

    Your tag card is just stunning. I love all the extras you have added. Love the bottle cap! OMG the DAD has so much dimension I had to second look because I thought they were metal letters.
