Well as I've gotten more involved with blogging and more into the world of craft blogs have found many friends, amazing blogs and the most creative people I've ever seen. Everyone is so supportive, fresh ideas, and always has great encouragement on my projects. Another thing I've come to the realization is there are so many challenges out there I love to do them it is just finding the time to enter all of them. I have yet to win one mostly I hope because they do a random winner and usually pick from many of us who have entered the challenge it bums me out sometimes especially when I pour my heart into a creation. But then again it is fun to play, enter the contest, and see all those other talented ladies who are creating also.
The following creations were both made for a few challenges I hope you enjoy and wish me luck!!
This Birthday card was made using my Gypsy, and the Cricut Expressions 2. I used the Gypsy Wanderings Page 29 for the music notes, Cricut Essentials for the large tag/frame, Happy Day was cut from Just a Note, and Forever Young cartridge for the layered flower. I love the colors Orange, Turquoise, and Green had to be used for one specific challenge, along with the Birthday theme.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
I made a 5x7 card, the colors turned out beautiful. It's so hard to make these cards and layouts and actually give them away they are like my children I just don't want to part with them.
I love this layered flower, I got the inspiration from Capadia Designs Blog. She has such cute stuff over there. You can see her blog and great designs go here
Capadia Designs Blog.
The cute music note is off the Gypsy Wanderings page 29 I did this for the
M.A.G. Challenge by the Page I think I may not have made it in time for this challenge, oh well still turned out cute!
Closer up of the card. I also entered a challenge at
Birthday Sundaes, had to have a Birthday them but anything goes. I also entered in in the
Pink Stamper Color Challenge had to use the colors Orange, Green and Turquoise.
This card was entered in the following challenges:
YOUR THE BEST GRANDPA!
I used my Gypsy and used the Micky Font cartridge to weld the GRANDPA together. I had ribbon on the bottom and crinkled it, the tag is made from Winter Frolic defiantly not just a winter cartridge.
Thanks for checking out my blog and wish me luck on the challenges!!
