Sea U Soon!!

I made this cute card for a fun challenge on Facebook on Tacky Tuesday Challenge. The challenge was to use Sea life and to use the word Sea on your card. Here is what I came up with.

I cute the whale out on the Life's a Beach Cricut Cartridge, welded the words Sea and Soon together using my Gypsy. I had lots and lots of blue Stickles to the water coming out of the whale whole. I found the blue ribbon in the bottom of my ribbon box loved how it all matched up together. Added the fun flowers for color and dimension, add some pho stiching and some bling bling for the eye.

The paper I used is already embossed Bazzil paper. Sometimes this paper can be difficult to cut on the Cricut but this project it didn't do too bad.

Wish me luck!!

Happy Birthday to you!!

Here is some cards I made for a couple challenges. But one great thing I now have a couple birthday cards on hand and will be ready when there is a birthday party to go to. I loved making these cards, it is just as easy to make 1 card as it is to make 3 especially with the Gypsy (LOVE IT)!!

I used the Expressions 2 with the pre loaded cartridge Just A Note, their card feature is really nice. Took me a couple times with the layers how to work all of it together. The first card to a little to get it all worked out but finally got it and the other two were easy easy. I had received in the mail on Monday a paper pack with embellishments from Scrapbooksteals.com, they have awesome daily deals. The paper pack is from Imaginisce Garden Party with coordinating embellishments.

The card is cute at 51/2, some of the other cute I did at 21/4 I think I could've done a little larger. I did pho stitching around the whole card with a white gel pen.

I entered these cards in a couple different challenges. Wish me luck and thanks for looking.

Wedding Bliss!

Here is a card I made for a few more challenges. Currently it is entered in the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge-Wedding.  This is a 5x7 card, really like making larger cards give more room for my designs. I used my Gypsy for placement and cut on my Cricut Expressions 2.  I used the Wrap It Up cartridge for both the bell and the Just Married phrase.
I used paper from the My Minds Eye Lost and Found line. I got a whole package deal through a really great daily discount from http://scrapbooksteals.com/. Love their daily steals. Also helps when matching paper together to use coordinates.
The Just Married cut from Wrap It Up cart glued on a piece of scrap and then added a little bling to the corners, and inked the edges.

The bell is also cut from Wrap It Up cartridge added a little bling from my I-Roc for the bell. Ran it through the cuttlebug actually used a couple different embossing folders. Inked everything for distressing, and a little ribbon.
This is the inside of the card both long pieces have been ran through the cuttlebug. I Cut the Fleur De Lis yesterday and was a left over from another project used Accent Essential for that cut. Loving the color of this card. No one to give it to right now but it's summer I am sure something will come up. Love is in the air!!

Thanks for looking and wish me luck!

Fleur De Lis Birthday card

Here is a card I made for a couple more challenges didn't take too long and was so much fun to make. Didn't use my Gypsy this time but used my Cricut Expressions 2, Accent Essentials cart, and BLING!!

I cut a 3" Fleur De Lis shadow, base and layer. Used a pop dot, inked the edges of all paper.
I cut a small Fleur De Lis 2.5" used the shadow feature, I put this through my cuttlebug not sure if you can see the dimension in it but there is some dry embossing added there. Tied a cute little ribbon on for an added touch.

This is the inside of the card, I used the same size cut on this Fleur De Lis and also ran through the cuttlebug for more dimension. I haven't added a greeting but will once I give it away. I love the colors on this card, it really gives it a Vintage appeal.

Here are the challenges I am entering this lovely creation in please go to the sites and see other amazing creations, or enter yours in their challenges. Wish me luck and happy crafting!!

Sunny Days

Here is a very large tag I made for a couple blog challenges. The colors are just beautiful, I don't think that the pics really do it any justice. I used a couple cartridges for the tag, and of course my Gypsy and the Expressions 2.

This tag is about 11 1/2" long and 7" wide. this really will be a great embellishment to add to my scrapbooks. The tag cut out are off the Winter Frolic cricut cartridge, and the Sunny Days and cloud with sun cut out are off the Cricut Lite cartridge Celebrate with Flourish.

I used my Gypsy for placement and to make sure everything would fit together, have I mentioned that I really really love my Gypsy. Really makes this cut quicker, save paper and helps with the design layouts.

This creation all the paper, flower embellishments, gem embellishments and stickers came from the Bo Bunny Kit Hippy Flower Child. This truly is one of my favorite creations. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating it. Wish me luck on the following challenges I am entering this in.

Happy Birthday to You!!! & Grandpa your the best!!!

Well as I've gotten more involved with blogging and more into the world of craft blogs have found many friends, amazing blogs and the most creative people I've ever seen. Everyone is so supportive, fresh ideas, and always has great encouragement on my projects. Another thing I've come to the realization is there are so many challenges out there I love to do them it is just finding the time to enter all of them. I have yet to win one mostly I hope because they do a random winner and usually pick from many of us who have entered the challenge it bums me out sometimes especially when I pour my heart into a creation. But then again it is fun to play, enter the contest, and see all those other talented ladies who are creating also.
The following creations were both made for a few challenges I hope you enjoy and wish me luck!!

This Birthday card was made using my Gypsy, and the Cricut Expressions 2. I used the Gypsy Wanderings Page 29 for the music notes, Cricut Essentials for the large tag/frame, Happy Day was cut from Just a Note, and Forever Young cartridge for the layered flower. I love the colors Orange, Turquoise, and Green had to be used for one specific challenge, along with the Birthday theme.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I made a 5x7 card, the colors turned out beautiful. It's so hard to make these cards and layouts and actually give them away they are like my children I just don't want to part with them.
I love this layered flower, I got the inspiration from Capadia Designs Blog. She has such cute stuff over there. You can see her blog and great designs go here Capadia Designs Blog.
The cute music note is off the Gypsy Wanderings page 29 I did this for the M.A.G. Challenge by the Page I think I may not have made it in time for this challenge, oh well still turned out cute!
Closer up of the card. I also entered a challenge at Birthday Sundaes, had to have a Birthday them but anything goes. I also entered in in the Pink Stamper Color Challenge had to use the colors Orange, Green and Turquoise.

This card was entered in the following challenges:

YOUR THE BEST GRANDPA!

This card I made for  my Grandpa for Fathers Day. I am also entering it in the following blogs.Fantabulous Cricut Challenge, More than Favors challenge. Both had to be a Fathers Day or Manly creation.

I used my Gypsy and used the Micky Font cartridge to weld the GRANDPA together. I had ribbon on the bottom and crinkled it, the tag is made from Winter Frolic defiantly not just a winter cartridge.

Thanks for checking out my blog and wish me luck on the challenges!!

Doubling UP!! Monkey Card.

I love it when there are challenges you can make one card for and works for many challenges. This card I am using for 3 challenges. More Than Favors, My Creative Time, & My Craft Spot.

The first challenge More Than Favors Cricut cartridge choice is New Arrival. I Made the little Monkey off the New Arrival cartridge. He turned out ok, not too excited about this card but it will work.

The second challenge is for My Creative Time you had to use a older cartridge which I used New Arrival and incorporate the colors green and yellow.
The third challenge for My Craft Spot was to use a Cricut Cartridge and make a little critter hopefully my cute or not so cute monkey will be considered a little critter.
I made the card from the Wild Card Cricut Cart I made two of them and cut one in half so when the card closed you can see the yellow in the inside. The little scallop tag is off the Cindy Loo cart and so are the multi layered flowers. I used pop dots, glue dots and fancy brads for embellishments.
Thanks for looking and wish me luck.
